On the occasion of DMI Fashion Day on 23 January 2014 in Düsseldorf the Dralon Active Lifestyle Project, in cooperation with Deutsches Modeinstitut, will, for the first time, present the results of their research on fashionable, sporty textile materials. These excel through their functional characteristics, a high degree of wearing comfort as well as a high demand on style. With this year’s spring / summer collection exclusively produced in Italy key pieces of trendy fashion that are characterized by combining a sportive and casual style with individual fashion claim will be presented to the visitors of the German fashion industry. Since the subject of ready-made sportswear and the use of technical material as an alternative to pure natural fibers is increasingly prevailing on the trend-oriented market Dralon puts its main focus on versatile application options as look, dyeing properties, surface structure and wearing comfort. These qualities as blends of Dralon® microfiber and viscose fir the body lines with their ultralight fabric – as to look and draping properties comparable to crease resistant jersey fabric. At the same time these innovative fabrics are highly resilient as well as extremely breathable and as such highly efficient as regards moisture and warmth control. The easy-care fabric is machine-washable (30°), stands for sustainable bright colours and is true to its original shape even after several washes while its surface structure is resistant to felting and fuzzing.
