The second biennial German Trade Show organized by Bangladesh German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BGCCI) was held on 27-29 October 2011 at Bangabandhu International Conference Center Dhaka to showcases Bangla-deshi and German products. Companies in textiles, garments, shipbuilding, IT logistics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and services were participated in the show hosting 76 stalls. On the inauguration function Commerce Minister of Bangladeshi Mr. Faruk Khan and German Ambassador to Bangladesh Mr. Holger Michael were present.
The trade show has been organized with a view to highlight & increase the trade & cultural relationship between Bangladesh & Germany. The trade show also hold seminars on CSR, social trade & climate change.
Bangladesh has moved up to the third position from seventh on Germany's list of garments importers. Bangladesh exported goods from T-shirts to ships worth $3.43 billion to Germany and imported goods worth $691.30 million in fiscal
2010-2011. One of our Acrylic Tow customer R.N Spinning mills ltd participated in the show and displayed their products. Many visitors visited their stall.

R.N. Spinning Mills Ltd., one of the biggest spinners of acrylic yarn in Bangladesh was also participating in the Fair. For quite some years the company has been enjoying a valued and efficient customer-supplier relationship with Dralon GmbH which both are eager to keep strengthening in the future.
